Ayodhya student wins UK award

Reema Khan, 24, a student from Ayodhya who’s pursuing her master’s in landscape architecture at the Manchester School of Architecture, United Kingdom, has won the Landscape Institute Award (2021) for her dissertation on the wetlands of Kashmir. Her paper explores the delicate balance of ecology, architecture, and community livelihoods. Reema said that she has also contributed to the Stretford Infrastructure Project, a scheme praised for its sustainable design and awarded the Pineapples Award (2025) for Best Infrastructure.
