Lucknow: A 14-year-old boy from Lucknow’s Takrohi area was found dead in his room, having allegedly committed suicide. The boy was a student of class 7 and the eldest of three siblings.According to the family, the boy informed his father, Amresh Kumar, that he was feeling unwell and would not be attending school that day. Kumar did not suspect anything unusual and allowed his son to rest at home. However, a short while later, the family found the boy hanging in his room with a rope tied around his neck.The family rushed him to Lohia Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life. However, the doctors pronounced him dead upon arrival. The family, originally from Jahangirabad in Barabanki district, resides in Lucknow due to Kumar’s employment. The sudden loss of their eldest son plunged the family into mourning as they struggled to come to terms with the tragedy.SHO Indiranagar, Suresh Tiwari said that as of now, no suicide note has been found, leaving many questions unanswered about what might have driven the young boy to such a drastic action. Police sources said that the extreme step was taken due to issues pertaining to studies.
