To improve passenger safety and healthcare, Northern Railway is setting up emergency medical rooms at Ayodhya Cantt Junction and Ayodhya Dham Junction. Emergeny medical rooms are operating round the clock at Varanasi Junction and Charbagh stations and have registered medical practitioners and trained paramedical staff. EMR at Lucknow-Charbagh has already attended to 41 railway beneficiaries and 18 other patients. “The initiative enhances safety net for passengers and ensures immediate medical care during emergencies,” said an official statement.
