Awareness drive against filariasis | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A number of awareness and motivational activities are being organised by the state health and family welfare department to ensure that 100% of the eligible population is targeted in the ongoing campaign underway in 27 districts of the state for the elimination of filariasis, an official spokesperson said on Tuesday. The list includes holding awareness sessions in the night chaupals, street plays, and MDA Yatra. “The initiative is crucial to ensure that people take their due medicine ,” said state filaria officer Dr AK Chaudhary.
