‘SBI committed to improving India’s healthcare ecosystem’ | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Deputy managing director and chief general manager (Lucknow circle) of State Bank of India, Satyendra Kumar Singh and Dipak Kumar De, presented a check for Rs 9.98 crore to chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday for the establishment of a pediatric cardiac operating theatre and intensive care unit in Saloni Heart Centre at SGPGIMS under corporate social responsibility (CSR). The cheque was presented on behalf of SBI foundation, the CSR arm of the bank. The facility will enable life-saving surgeries for approximately 300 children annually, alongside the training of over 200 healthcare professionals, including surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, perfusionists, and technologists. The CM appreciated the bank for its contribution to strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of Uttar Pradesh. DMD, SBI, Satyendra Kumar Singh said that this project was a testament to the bank’s commitment to creating lasting impact in India’s healthcare ecosystem.
