Lucknow: Chinhat police on Sunday arrested one Ajay Kumar Rawat (27) and his parents, Ashok Kumar (70) and Raj Kumari (60), in connection with the alleged murder of a 24-year-old woman, Ruby Devi, over unmet dowry demands.The case came to light when Amar Nath, father of the deceased and a resident of Fatehpur in Barabanki, lodged a complaint alleging that his daughter was murdered by her in-laws for not fulfilling their dowry demands. Acting on the complaint, Chinhat police, led by ACP Vibhutikhand, launched an investigation. Senior officials inspected the crime scene, and forensic teams collected evidence. Swift action led to the arrest of the primary accused, Ajay Kumar Rawat, along with his parents near their residence in Kanchanpur Matiyari.
