Stripping leadership of corporate jargon, he presented it as a quiet, daily practice of self-mastery, rooted in self-awareness, discipline and purpose. “Leadership does not begin with a designation. It begins with clarity about who you are, what you stand for and why you choose to do what you do every single day,” said Mayank. Leadership begins with leading oneself, ability to take responsibility for one’s own thoughts, actions and choices. He emphasised that growth and success remained incomplete without understanding one’s relationship with family, work, money, health and society. “If you cannot bring balance to your own life, taking up things with responsibility is not possible,” he added.
