Lucknow: The Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Dham, has finalised a plan to tackle winter fog disruptions and ensure passenger convenience.A coordination meeting chaired by airport director Dhirendra Singh brought together key stakeholders, including TC in-charge Awadhesh Kumar Singh, CISF chief aerodrome security officer Ravindra Singh, terminal manager Jayanto Niyogi and representatives from various airlines. The meeting emphasised passenger comfort during delays. “It was agreed that if any flight is delayed by more than an hour, airlines will provide passengers with appropriate meals or snacks. Additionally, flight sequences and boarding gate management will be streamlined to prevent congestion,” said the airport director.“Authorities will also coordinate with the district administration to ensure that hotels and accommodation providers do not impose unfair charges on stranded passengers in case of flight cancellations.
