LU set to host state-level round of Viksit Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Lucknow University will host 541 young participants from Uttar Pradesh on Dec 12 and 13 for the state-level round of the ‘Viksit Bharat Yuva Neta Samvad’.The two-day event aims to bring together dynamic youth voices to share their perspectives on India’s development roadmap. Shortlisted finalists will earn an opportunity to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi in January 2026.Dean student welfare, prof VK Sharma, has been appointed the nodal officer for UP, along with deputy director, youth welfare and provincial guard headquarters, Ajatshatru Shahi. Participants will engage in discussions on key themes including Aatmanirbhar Bharat, cultural diplomacy, sustainable development, future-ready workforce, smart agriculture, fitness, innovation, startups, women-led development, and youth participation in democracy.Sessions will be held at both the main and new campuses, followed by interviews conducted by experts from Delhi to select the finalists.“The aim of this programme is to help young people develop a clear understanding of the vision of a Viksit Bharat. With diverse themes and a structured selection process, we hope to identify young voices ready to contribute meaningfully to India’s future,” said prof VK Sharma.
