35 more IndiGo Lucknow flights cancelled on Sunday | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport wore a deserted look on Sunday after 35 IndiGo flights were cancelled, disrupting the travel plans of hundreds of passengers. However, the airline informed passengers about the cancellations through text messages and email notifications to avoid inconvenience. In its statement, IndiGo said the decision was taken early to minimise inconvenience. “Cancellations were made at an earlier stage, allowing us to inform our customers timely,” the statement said. The airline advised passengers to check the latest flight status before leaving for the airport at https://www.goindigo.in/check-flight-status.html. Refund assistance is available at https://www.goindigo.in/refund.html or through customer support. Meanwhile, a passenger, Mohan Babu Krishnamoorthy, tagging a TOI reporter on X, expressed frustration after receiving a refund of only Rs 849 against his original booking amount of Rs 7,178 for a Bengaluru–Mumbai–Bengaluru trip. He shared a screenshot showing deductions, including non-refundable convenience fees of Rs 375, airline cancellation charges of Rs 5,250, partner fees of Rs 300, and discount adjustments of Rs 413. IndiGo told TOI the matter would be looked into. The airline reiterated it is working diligently to improve operations and expects to stabilise its network by Dec 10.
