Lucknow: Stressing the need for discipline in life, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday said that discipline is the foundation of life, and only disciplined youth can take the nation to new heights with unwavering courage.Addressing the closing ceremony of the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides in Lucknow, the CM said that over the five days of the event, Lucknow witnessed discipline, patience, and immense potential of India’s youth, and participants from other countries.“The 19th National Jamboree, representing the vibrant energy of young people who are the future of India, was hosted in Uttar Pradesh after 61 years. The event reminded me of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, held earlier in 2025, which saw the participation of 66 crore devotees from across the world. The event reflects robust teamwork. By participating in initiatives like ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ through the platform of Jamboree, the youth helped to advance the PM’s vision of a developed India,” Yogi said.Congratulating participants and organisers for the successful event, he urged everyone, including participants from abroad, to take back the memories of the Jamboree to their respective regions and help advance the vision of India and global brotherhood.The ceremony was attended by Governor Anandiben Patel, Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, Bharat Scouts and Guides national president Anil Jain, UP president of Bharat Scouts and Guides Mahendra Singh, national chief commissioner KK Khandelwal, and state chief commissioner Prabhat Kumar.
