Properties of 3 criminals worth Rs 1.10 crore seized | Lucknow News

Lucknow: Under the ongoing crackdown on organised crime in Lucknow, the Wazirganj and Thakurganj police teams on Wednesday seized properties worth Rs 1.10 crore belonging to three members of a criminal gang. Acting on the orders of the Police Commissioner, officials verified and identified assets allegedly amassed through illegal activities by gang leader Ashish Singh, alias Raja, and his brothers Manish Singh and Avneesh Singh, all residents of Generalganj under Thakurganj police station limits.The seized assets include three luxury vehicles, along with a 2,666 sq ft land parcel at village Narauna in Kakori tehsil.The action was taken under Section 14(1) of the UP Gangsters and Anti-Social Activities (Prevention) Act. Police said a further probe into additional illegally acquired properties is underway.According to officials, the trio was named in multiple cases, ranging from fraud, forgery, cheating, criminal intimidation, and extortion, registered at Thakurganj and Wazirganj police stations between 2018 and 2025.
