FARIDABAD: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested a resident of Faridabad, Haryana, for allegedly providing shelter and logistical support to terrorist Umar un Nabi ahead of the 10 November car bomb blast outside Delhi’s Red Fort.The accused, identified as Soyab, a native of Dhauj in Faridabad, worked as a compounder at Al-Falah university. Soyab helped Umar un Nabi to rent a room in Hidayat Colony of Nuh where he hid for 10 days before the Delhi explosion, which claimed 15 lives and left many others injured.The NIA is currently pursuing multiple leads linked to the terror conspiracy. Teams are conducting coordinated searches across several states alongside local police forces to identify and track other individuals connected to the attack.Officials said efforts are being intensified to uncover the full network behind the deadly bombing, as the agency aims to dismantle the entire conspiracy responsible for one of the most shocking terror incidents in the capital this year.Earlier state and national agencies arrested two doctors of Al-Falah university- Dr Muzammil Ahmad Ganaie and Dr Shahin Shaheed-for their alleged role in the terror plot. NIA is also investigating their alleged links with Pakistan and Turkey handlers of the said white color terror module.
