BBAU scholar gets ‘Dhriti Arya’ award for command over scriptures

Lucknow: Patanjali University has awarded the title of ‘Dhriti Arya’ on Dolly Devi a research scholar at Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU) for her exceptional knowledge of Indian traditions and exceptional memorisation of scriptures.Dolly has a profound word-perfect command over important texts such as the Shrimad Bhagvad Gita, Isha Upanishad, Panch Darshan, Hatha Pradeepika, Neetishatakam, Charpat Manjari, and Vyavahar Bhanu. Dolly shared that her classmates used to say that she would fail in her regular studies as she was too much into ancient scriptures, but in her undergraduate and postgraduate studies, she was the second topper. “Dolly has made a remarkable mark in the field of Indian knowledge tradition and exceptional scripture memorisation,” said BBAU spokesperson Prof Rachna Gangwar. BBAU vice chancellor, Prof Raj Kumar Mittal, congratulated Dolly Devi on receiving the title “Dhriti Arya”.
