Wellness tourism hub to come up in Dudhwa Nat’l Park | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Dudhwa National Park is set to welcome a new experience for nature lovers, wellness seekers, and wildlife enthusiasts. Tourism and culture minister Jaiveer Singh said that a holistic wellness tourism hub will be developed on nearly five acres in Chandan Chowki village, Lakhimpur Kheri.Designed as a peaceful retreat surrounded by the forests of Dudhwa, the project will feature luxury cottages across different categories. These cottages will offer modern comfort while giving guests a quiet, immersive stay close to nature. Visitors will have access to facilities for yoga, meditation, fitness, and outdoor recreation, creating a space where wellness and wilderness come together.The hub will also include curated experiences to help travellers reconnect with nature, including open green spaces, nature walks and activity zones. All bookings will be available through the websites of Uttar Pradesh Tourism and the UP Eco Tourism Development Board.For the operation and maintenance of the project, an agreement was signed between the UP Eco Tourism Development Board and BVG India Ltd. The signing took place in the presence of Director General Tourism Rajesh Kumar, Director UP Tourism (Eco) Pushp Kumar K, and BVG India’s Chief Growth Officer Jitendra Walia.Tourism minister Jaiveer Singh said the new wellness unit will offer travellers a unique combination of nature, luxury, and rejuvenation. He added that Dudhwa, known for its rich biodiversity including tigers, rhinos, and swamp deer, already attracts wildlife enthusiasts from across India and abroad. The upcoming hub will further enhance the region’s tourism potential while creating new employment opportunities for local youth.
