Patrolling intensified, Lko cops get training in weapon handling | Lucknow News

Lucknow: On high alert following car blast in Delhi, the Lucknow Police have intensified checking and patrolling in various parts of the city.To ensure preparedness, police personnel, including women officers, were trained in weapon handling and firing at Mahanagar police station under the supervision of the ACP. The training focused on enhancing quick response capabilities during emergency situations.During the session, constables practised firing with INSAS rifles and underwent tests to assess their weapon-handling proficiency.“The personnel were also trained in loading weapons, aiming accurately, and responding swiftly in emergency situations. The session covered essential rescue techniques during major incidents, proper use of safety gear and body armour, and methods to ensure the safety of both officers and civilians during operations,” an officer said.
