Lucknow: The RLD on Tuesday said it would expand the party organisation in urban areas and ensure the party’s participation in municipal elections.Party national secretary Anupam Mishra said the task would be driven by the RLD Urban Body, constituted on the direction of party president and Union minister Jayant Chaudhary. UP has 17 municipal corporations, 200 municipal councils, 545 nagar panchayats and 762 urban local bodies. The party agreed to work in a time-bound manner. tnn
