Lucknow: Sarojininagar MLA Rajeshwar Singh on Sunday shared an inspiring message on social media, urging the country’s youth to adopt skill, awareness, ethics, and health as the cornerstones of a stronger nation. Outlining five pillars of youth empowerment (skill development, environmental responsibility, health, ethics, and national pride) he said these values would help India emerge as a global power by 2047.Singh emphasised that in an age of AI and automation, continuous learning is the key to success. Citing UNICEF data, he noted that only one in five of India’s 371 million youth are equipped with AI-related skills. He also stressed that protecting the planet is a generational responsibility, pointing out that 94% of Indian youth are already experiencing the effects of climate change. On health, Singh referred to WHO data indicating that 38% of young people lack adequate physical activity, stating that a strong body and balanced mind are essential for overall growth. “Today’s youth are not just building careers; they are shaping India’s destiny toward becoming a global power,” he concluded.
