Woman suffers burns, dies | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A woman, who sustained severe burns in an LPG refilling accident in Mahmudpur village in Barabanki a week ago, succumbed to injuries at Lucknow’s Civil Hospital early Monday. The incident occurred on Oct 27 when a fire broke out during an illegal gas transfer from a cylinder inside a van.According to police, Pappu of Barabanki’s Anwari village, arrived at Ramesh Kumar’s house with his van carrying LPG cylinders. While refilling gas into another container near Ramesh’s house, the van caught fire. Ramesh’s wife, Manju (35), who was standing at the doorstep, was engulfed in flames and sustained critical burns.
