Ayodhya pilgrimage for senior citizens | Lucknow News
Lucknow: MLA Rajeshwar Singh fulfilled his promise to senior citizens by organising a pilgrimage to Ayodhya for 60 devotees, primarily elderly women. This initiative, part of the ‘Ramrath-Shravan Ayodhya Yatra’, marked its 45th successful journey on Sunday. The journey, which provided free transportation, meals, and other necessities, was a response to a request made on Aug 2 by an elderly woman from the village. Upon reaching Ayodhya, the devotees were overwhelmed with emotion as they visited the sacred site of Ram Lalla. As a token of appreciation, the MLA gifted sarees to all women pilgrims. TNN
