UP to build Rs 8kcr integrated logistics hub in Greater Noida | Lucknow News
Lucknow: UP is poised to take a big leap on India’s logistics map with the approval of Rs 8,000-crore Integrated Industrial Township and Logistics Hub at Bodaki in Greater Noida.This project is expected to be one of the most advanced multimodal logistics centres in north India, an official spokesperson said.Planned under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) framework, the Bodaki hub will span 800 acres and feature container terminals, warehousing complexes, and direct connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor. The project promises to cut transit time and freight costs across Delhi-NCR, western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Rajasthan, giving a boost to state’s logistics competitiveness, the spokesperson said. Officials said the initiative aligns with India’s National Logistics Policy (NLP), which aims to build integrated infrastructure, unify freight management, and strengthen multimodal transport. It is also a key step toward the Viksit Bharat by 2047 vision and India’s goal of becoming a seven trillion dollar economy by 2035.CEO of Greater Noida Authority Prerna Singh said the project would transform the region into a national logistics and industrial destination. “With the Bodaki hub, Greater Noida will emerge as the country’s most significant logistics and warehousing centre, driving cargo movement and large-scale employment,” she said. A second logistics park worth Rs 1,200 crore is also being developed in Dadri. Together, the Bodaki and Dadri projects are expected to attract major domestic and global investors and create thousands of direct and indirect jobs.Officials said the projects marked Uttar Pradesh’s emergence as a logistics and infrastructure leader, connecting its industrial growth with India’s broader supply chain and export ambitions.
