LU has appointed Shyamlesh Kumar Tiwari from the department of Oriental Sanskrit as the acting superintendent of the works department, following an order issued by VC Prof Manuka Khanna. Tiwari will hold the charge for three years or until further order, in addition to his existing responsibilities. The move comes after DK Singh, social work department and head of works department, expressed his inability to continue in the position.
