Lucknow: Team Aroma Mission, CSIR, has been selected for the Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar – Vigyan Team Award for 2025. The Aroma Mission is run by the CSIR, with Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CIMAP) in Lucknow acting as the nodal institute. The mission also involves a network of other CSIR laboratories across the country.CIMAP received a letter from the chairperson of Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar Committee Prof Ajay Kumar Sood, confirming the team’s selection. “The award is being given for the outstanding and exemplary achievement by the team, which was achieved due to the dedication, passion and innovative spirit of every member. The collaborative efforts and collective expertise were instrumental in bringing this ambitious mission to reality, achieving national goals and global aspirations and opening up new vistas for future research and development,” the letter said.The Rashtriya Vigyan Puraskar-Vigyan Team Award, comprising a medallion and sanad, will be presented on dates to be announced shortly.
