UNTCC chiefs witness Indian Army’s strength

Lucknow: The United Nations Troop Contributing Countries (UNTCC) Chiefs Conclave 2025, hosted by the Indian Army from Oct 14 to Oct 16, continued on the second day on Wednesday with a visit to Agra.The chiefs observed an integrated new age technology demonstration by the Indian Army. The demonstration included various new-generation military equipment developed in India. It focused on the country’s efforts toward self-reliance in defence and its ability to provide solutions for peacekeeping operations.The delegation also visited the Taj Mahal. After that, they went to the Kalakriti Heritage Centre, where they watched a cultural performance and interacted with local artisans. The visit aimed to give the delegates an overview of India’s cultural practices and traditional crafts.Conclave will conclude on Thursday with final discussions, meetings with industry representatives, and a summary of outcomes. These sessions are expected to help improve future UN peacekeeping operations.
