Pathak felicitates international players on Volleyball Day | Lucknow News
Lucknow: On the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Volleyball Day, the Uttar Pradesh Volleyball Association felicitated several international players at the KD Singh ‘Babu’ Stadium on Friday. During the event, the official website of the association was also launched.Deputy chief minister and president of the UP Volleyball Association, Brajesh Pathak, felicitated Apratim, Kartik, Shivam, Aryan, and Adesh Singh for their significant contribution to India’s bronze medal victory at the Asian Under-16 Men’s Volleyball Championship. Lucknow’s Ananya Singh, who represented India at the World University Volleyball Championship, and former international player Kiran Pal Singh Rana were also honoured.In his address, Pathak emphasised the need for a dedicated plan to promote volleyball in every village.Also present were the secretary general of the Volleyball Federation of India, Ramanand Choudhary; director (sports), RP Singh; and UPOA general secretary, Anandeshwar Pandey.
