Lucknow: It was a morning filled with pride, laughter, and celebration as Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University convocation. The campus buzzed with excitement as jubilant students, including the toppers, clicked selfies and embraced family and friends. The vibrant atmosphere reflected both the joy of achievement and the university’s scholarly spirit.The convocation honoured not just degrees and medals, but the dedication, discipline, and dreams behind them. Out of 1,424 degrees conferred, three names stood out, Rehmana, Apoorva Dwivedi, and Dharmesh Yadav, each bagging three gold medals for their exceptional performance. Their success highlighted the diverse academic strength of the university across arts, science, and technology. Among the top achievers, BSc (Chemistry) student Dharmesh Yadav received the Chancellor’s Gold Medal for securing the highest marks across all faculties. “I worked hard just to make my family proud, but becoming the university topper was beyond my imagination. My father, Brij Kishor, toiled tirelessly to support my studies. I used to study 8-10 hours daily, focusing on clarity and consistent revision. I am now preparing for the SSC CGL examination,” he said. B.Tech student Apoorv Dwivedi, who received the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal for securing the second-highest marks across all faculties, expressed gratitude to her parents. “My father, Harikesh Dwivedi, is a teacher, and my mother, Saroj Dwivedi, is a homemaker. I dedicated 7-9 hours daily to studies, balancing practicals and theory. I aspire to become a civil engineer, have been selected for M.Tech at IIT Dhanbad, and aim to develop India’s first self-drive car,” he said. BA Urdu student Rehmana received the Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Medal for her excellence in Urdu, Arabic and Persian. “I feel deeply connected to my language and culture. I devoted 6-8 hours daily to reading, writing, and language practice. My aim is to become a professor,” she said.
