Lucknow: To bridge the gap between theoretical knowl- edge and surgical execution, SGPGI’s neurosur- gery department, in associat- ion with KGMU’s anatomy department, recently rolled out the first SGPGI Skull Base Surgery Course–Cadaveric Workshop and Operative Proctorship. The two-day programme drew neurosur- geons from premier institutes across India. “The course focused on complex skull base approaches, tumour resections and vascular interventions – often considered among the most technically demanding in neurosurgery,” said Dr Awadhesh Kumar Jaiswal, organising chairperson.
