Fire at cinema hall in Etawah; none hurt | Lucknow News
Kanpur: A fire broke out on the screen during the night show at the cinema hall located at Shastri Chauraha in Etawah causing panic and chaos. The entire hall filled with smoke, but the cinema hall employees began controlling the fire using fire safety cylinders. Their swift action prevented spread of the fire despite the dense smoke, which posed considerable difficulty for the employees. The fire brigade team assisted in evacuating the hall and clearing the lingering smoke.Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries reported. The cause of the fire is stated to be an electrical short circuit.
