Scientist elected Fellow of NASI

Chief scientist at the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute (CSIR-CDRI), R. Ravishankar, has been elected a Fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, India (NASI). This honour comes close on the heels of his recent election as a Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA), New Delhi, last month. Established in 1930 in Prayagraj, NASI is the oldest science academy in India, dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and recognising excellence in research. “Ravishankar’s election to this fellowship is a testament to his significant contributions in the fields of Biochemistry and Structural Biology,”said CDRI spokesperson Sanjeev Yadav.
