LMC halts sealing of Sahara Shahar, grants 3-day extension | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) on Wednesday halted the sealing of Sahara City after company representatives requested more time to vacate the premises.An LMC team, accompanied by police, ETF, and PAC personnel, arrived at the township with five locks and chains to begin the sealing. Officials were about to secure the gates when Sahara officials sought a three-day reprieve to remove belongings. The corporation granted the extension. Following the decision, movement of VIP vehicles within the premises reportedly increased. LMC officials insisted that the township be vacated, and its belongings cleared, despite initial resistance from Sahara representatives.
