‘Youth should draw inspiration from Bhagat Singh’s writings’ | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Youth should read about Bhagat Singh and learn lessons from his writings if they want to succeed in life, said Prof Sudhir Pawar, former head of the zoology department at Lucknow University and ex-member of the UP Planning Commission, while addressing a symposium on ‘Relevance of Bhagat Singh in Modern India’ on Saturday. The event was organised by Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha at Lucknow University’s DPA Auditorium. Pawar emphasised Bhagat Singh was a visionary and how the word ‘socialist’ was added by Bhagat Singh to the Hindustan Republican Association. He urged students to go beyond remembering Bhagat Singh merely as a martyr and to actively engage with his writings.
