High-speed crash in Gurgaon: 5 killed, 1 injured as Thar flips after hitting divider near Jharsa Chowk | Gurgaon News

Five occupants, including three females, died when their black Thar crashed into a divider and overturned near Jharsa chowk in Gurgaon early Saturday morning

GURGAON: Five black Thar occupants died after their car crashed into a divider located at exit-9 near Jharsa chowk around 5 am on Saturday.The deceased included three females. According to the police, the victims were plying from Delhi to Gurgaon side.The driver lost the control due to high speed and rammed the vehicle into the divider which then overturned repeatedly claiming five lives.

After being informed by the onlookers, police reached the spot and took the victims to a local hospital where they were declared dead.

The car was completely mangled and was removed from the main carriageway by the cops.All the victims are the students of Law College in Greater Noida.The four out of five deceased were identified as Pratishtha, Aditya Pratap, Lavanya and Gautam. Meanwhile one Kapil suffered serious injuries in the accident on the Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway.
