Applications invited for UPESSC chairman post | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The higher education department on Friday issued a notice inviting applications for the post of chairperson, UP Education Service Selection Commission after its first chief, Prof Kirti Pandey, tendered her resignation. The ‘all in one commission’ was formed in 2023 to handle all recruitments and was responsible for hiring teachers in govt-run and aided schools and colleges. Special secretary, higher education, Girijesh Tripathi said Pandey cited personal reasons for stepping down. TNN
