40L visit temples during Navratri | Lucknow News



Lucknow: Over 40 lakh devotees visited Goddess Durga temples across the state in just four days of Navratri. At Vindhyavasini Dham in Mirzapur alone, 12 lakh devotees performed ‘darshan’, with numbers expected to exceed one crore on Saptami, Ashtami, and Navami.The recently constructed Vindhyachal Corridor has enhanced convenience, and on the festival’s last three days, 6-7 lakh devotees are expected daily.Key temples across the state that are witnessing record footfalls include Vindhyavasini Dham, Mirzapur (3.5-4 lakh daily), Vishalakshi Temple, Varanasi (8,000-10,000 daily), Gayatri Shaktipeeth, Chauradevi (7,000 daily), Kushmanda Temple, Durgakund (7,000-8,000), Shakumbhari Devi Shaktipeeth (50,000), Tripur Bala Sundari Temple (40,000 daily), Pateshwari Devi Temple, Balrampur (50,000 daily), and Alopi Shankari Shaktipeeth, Ganga banks (1.25 lakh daily).
