Lucknow: Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd’s 400/220 kV substation in Lucknow was declared the first Pink Station in Northern Region-III, with all operations being managed exclusively by women. Part of NR-III’s 29 substations across Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, the substation will operate under Kiran Singh, senior deputy general manager, said Yugesh Kumar Dixit, executive director, NR-III, in the presence of female employees and senior officials.
