‘Samarth UP’ receives 1.25L feedback entries | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The ‘Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047′ campaign run by the Yogi govt is receiving unprecedented public support. The nodal officers appointed for the campaign completed their visit to all 75 districts, where they interacted with students, teachers, businessmen, entrepreneurs, farmers, voluntary organisations, labour organisations, media, and the general public. During their visit, the officers shared the state’s development journey over the last eight years and sought feedback on UP’s roadmap for the future. So far, samarthuttarpradesh.up.gov, a dedicated portal created for the campaign, has received 1.25 lakh feedback entries. Of these, more than 88,000 have come from rural areas, while 24,000 are from urban areas. Based on age groups, around 41,000 suggestions came from people aged below 31, around 65,000 from those aged between 31 and 60, and 7,000 from those above 60 years of age. Among the feedback received, the majority — 41,000 — were related to education. Another 19,000 suggestions were related to urban and rural development, 12,000 to healthcare, 10,000 to social welfare, and 17,000 to agriculture. “This clearly indicates that the people consider both education and agriculture as the foundation for future development,” said a govt spokesperson.Districts like Agra, Ballia, Balrampur, Jaunpur, Kanpur Dehat, Firozabad, Kanpur Nagar, Mainpuri and Pratapgarh saw the highest participation. These districts alone contributed more than 16,000 feedback entries. Suggestions related to education emphasised ensuring basic facilities for students, such as clean toilets, safe drinking water, well-equipped libraries, and playgrounds. Feedback also stressed the need to implement technological reforms to ensure transparency and fairness in the examination system. Emphasis was laid on making education more employment-oriented.In urban areas, people highlighted the rising cost of private education and stressed the need to improve the quality and resources of govt schools.
