Original Ramayan manuscripts to be displayed at Ram Katha Park museum

Ayodhya: Ancient Ramayan manuscripts available in various regions and geographies will be sourced and presented at the Ram Katha Park museum in Ayodhya. The museum will depict the life and journey of Lord Ram since his childhood and is being constructed close to the Saryu river.In a statement on the concluding day of the three-day review meeting, Ram Temple construction committee chairman Nripendra Misra on Wednesday said the Uttar Pradesh govt is working on a roadmap to present Ayodhya as a spiritual city on the international map. Adding that the key challenge before the committee is to ensure the completion of the civil works ahead of installation of the dhwaja on Nov 25, Misra said that construction companies have been directed to adhere to the timeline.The deadline to complete the 75-acre wide temple complex is March 2026, after which the auditorium, trust office building, guest house, among other amenities, will be completed. Ram Katha Park is expected to be inaugurated in April next year. The construction of the boundary wall around the temple complex will take at least a year. Watch towers will be set up strategically to keep the perimeter safe from any untoward incidents, with armed security personnel guarding the complex on the lines of high-security zones.Ram Katha Park will have 20 galleries, and a portion of it will showcase various episodes from the Ramayan to the visitors with seven-dimensional technique. Experts from premier institutes, including IIT Madras, are working on it.
