LU finalises medal list after five changes | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Lucknow University announced its final medal list with five changes to the list announced earlier. The university will award 201 gold, silver, and bronze medals during the convocation ceremony on Sept 10.Chancellor’s gold medal will be awarded to BA (4 years) student Arindam Chaturvedi, best university student in all faculties, scoring highest, 86.41% marks. Two Chancellor silver medals and 10 Chancellors’ bronze medals will be awarded. “The tentative list of 200 medals announced earlier underwent five changes based on objections received and verification. Bhrigu Prakash Memorial Prize in Psychology will be awarded to Swati Gupta, while Dr Indrajeet Singh Gold Medal will be awarded to Jigyasa Verma,” said Durgesh Srivastava, LU spokesperson.He said Pandit Jagatpal Krisha Gold Medal will be awarded to Akansha Pawan, Chancellors’ Bronze Medal to Divya Shukla and the Udai Shankar Shukla Memorial Gold Medal to Vijay Patel.
