Gorakhpur: Three people, including two teenagers, were killed and one injured when the teenagers’ bike crashed into a truck while making reels in Deoria district on Friday. Eyewitnesses said three teenage boys were riding a new hi-end bike in high speed on Kasya Road and making reels on mobile phones. The bike hit a woman crossing the road and then crashed into a parked truck, eyewitnesses added. Two boys and the woman died on the spot while one boy was critically injured.The deceased were identified as Class 11 student Kishan Chauhan (17), Class 10 student Anup Kumar (16) and Munni Devi (40). The injured boy, Class 10 student Raj (16), is undergoing treatment at Maharshi Devarha Baba Medical College where his condition remains critical. The bodies were sent for postmortem, CO city Sanjay Kumar Reddy said.Police said Kishan’s father had bought him the bike last week as a gift for clearing Class 10 earlier this year. “If I hadn’t bought him the bike this wouldn’t have happened,” said his inconsolable father.
