Play depicts war-struck campers’ woes | Lucknow News
Lucknow: A play titled ‘Camp’ was staged on the second day of a 5-day theatre festival Rang-e-Awargi being organised by Rupantran Natya Sanstha at UP Sangeet Natak Akademi. Written and directed by Rameshwar Prem, the play focuses on plight of those displaced in war and surviving miserably after being seperated from their loved ones and family. Main characters were played by Arpanesh Mishra, Ashutosh Sahu, Mahinder Pal, Kishan Kumar, Narendra Pathak, Preeti Chauhan, Mamta Shukla, Mahima and Satyendra and Rohan. On day 3, play ‘Aadhi Roti Pura Chand’ will be staged along with ‘dastangoi’ by Himanshu Bajpai on the subject of Kakori Train Action.tnn
