Viksit UP ’47 vision focuses on eco strength, innovation, vitality | Lucknow News
Lucknow: The Viksit UP-2047 vision plan is based on three themes: economic strength, innovation, and vitality. The project is divided into 12 priority sectors, which include all major departments and sectors through which govt hopes to realise its target of making UP a USD 6 trillion economy by 2047.The details were shared by principal secretary, planning, Alok Kumar, at a one-day orientation programme to familiarise the 400-plus intellectuals who have been roped in by govt to take forward Viksit UP-2047 project with its vision document. The team includes intellectuals and experts from across the state, as well as retired officials from police, forestry, agriculture, irrigation, education, health, science, and engineering services.All members of the team have been assigned districts, and on Sept 8 and 9, they will be visiting their assigned districts and stay there on both days to interact with students, teachers, farmers, entrepreneurs, voluntary organisations, and citizens. They will share the state’s development under the BJP govt over the past eight years, discuss its future roadmap, and gather people’s feedback to be incorporated into the Vision Document.“The public outreach programme will be conducted from Sept 5 to Oct 5. The programme, along with the QR Code, will be widely publicised through hoardings at district, tehsil, and block levels, advertisements in leading newspapers, and promotion on radio, television, and social media. Seminars will also be organised at the gram panchayat level to ensure grassroots participation,” said a govt spokesperson.He added that govt’s goal is to collect at least one feedback entry from every household in the state. Selected suggestions will be incorporated into the regional development strategy. Special attention will be given to feedback from farmers, women, small and micro industries, and traders. In addition to this, subject experts, NITI Aayog, and leading industrialists will also be asked to contribute their inputs.
