Lucknow leads in revenue case disposals in Aug | Lucknow News
Lucknow: About 3,69,293 revenue matters were resolved across Uttar Pradesh in Aug this year with state capital Lucknow leading the chart in term of total disposal of cases.The Revenue Court Computerized Management System (RCCMS) in its latest monthly report also revealed that Jaunpur led at the district court level, a position it maintained for over the past 10 consecutive months. With 19,178 disposals, Lucknow topped among districts followed by Prayagraj with 10,693, Gorakhpur 9,560, Jaunpur 8,779 and Barabanki 8,615. “The monitoring of revenue cases has been taking place at the highest level with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath giving strict instructions that such matters must be resolved at the earliest. With that in mind, all districts have prioritised revenue case settlement,” said a govt spokesperson. Jaunpur DM Dinesh Chandra Singh said: “Against the Board of Revenue’s monthly standard of 250 cases, Jaunpur’s five revenue courts settled 612 cases, achieving 244.80% of the target.” Among district-level courts’ performance in the state, Lakhimpur Kheri stood second with 379 cases against a standard of 300 while Azamgarh ranked third with 400 cases against a standard of 350. In the category of district magistrate court, Mau’s DM Court emerged as the top performer by disposing of 91 cases against the standard of 30, achieving 303.33%, the highest in the state. Bulandshahr followed with 79 disposals while Jaunpur stood third with 68. Jaunpur, which showed consistent performance, also ranked first in the additional district magistrate (land revenue) level, having disposed of 208 cases against the standard of 50. Meanwhile, the additional district magistrate (land revenue) of Ghazipur disposed of 30 cases and secured second position while Mirzapur disposed of 24 cases and stood third. The additional district magistrate (finance & revenue) of Jaunpur disposed of 211 cases against the standard of 50, achieving 422% and securing the first position. Azamgarh followed in second place with 105 cases disposed of while Jhansi ranked third with 80 cases.
