Shubhanshu to be chief guest at AKTU convocation | Lucknow News
Lucknow: Astronaut Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will return to his hometown, Lucknow, to grace convocation ceremony of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University as chief guest on Sep 9. Thousands of graduating students will receive degrees at the convocation, said university officials, adding that Shukla’s presence would motivate students, encouraging them to aim higher in their careers and lives.AKTU Vice-Chancellor Prof J P Pandey said, “It is a matter of pride for the university and the city that Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla consented to join us as chief guest, we have his consent as his journey reflects the perseverance, discipline and excellence we want our students to imbibe.
