Cons steal SUV during test drive | Lucknow News

Lucknow: Two conmen posing as customers made off with a high-end SUV from a car dealership in Dubagga.Showroom owner Mohammad Alam in his FIR said that two men arrived at the showroom on Wednesday afternoon and sought a test drive of an SUV.Showroom employee Yaseen accompanied the duo as they set off towards Hardoi. However, near Khamdi Road the duo allegedly threw Yaseen out of the moving vehicle and sped away. Yaseen informed the showroom owner who alerted the police on UP 112. The police have registered an FIR under sections 115(2) and 303(2) of the BNS 2023 and are scanning the CCTV footage to get a clue. Police have mobilized check-posts in a bid to nab the culprits and reclaim the vehicle. Police have asked car dealers to verify customer credentials before allowing the test drive. TNN
